Bring your lunch and hear Theresa Gillis McDougall, amateur historian and Salemologist, speak about this troubling period in Massachusetts history. Ms. McDougall has deep roots in New England ancestry, with relatives who participated in both sides of the trials. She has given presentations and led historical walking tours of Salem, Plymouth, Boston and other New England towns for over ten years.

She will give a brief history of the Salem Witch Trials and its victims from the social origins, trials and aftermath, to the much-overlooked Boston connections and deep involvement in the trials of 1692.

The Connector is an independent state agency charged with implementing elements of the 2006 Massachusetts Health Reform law. Ms. Wcislo will speak on how the national Affordable Care Act may impact the achievements of the 2006 state law, often referred to as “Chapter 58.”

Program Services at the Suffolk County Sheriff's Dept.

Rachelle Steinberg will speak about programs in the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department. Sheriff Andrea Cabral’s office is dedicated to providing the inmates and detainees with as much programming as possible to make for a smooth transition back into our community. The goal is to have each individual that is released from its facilities leave with more than they came in with.
