Bring your lunch and hear Celia Wcislo, a Massachusetts Health Connector board member. The Connector is an independent state agency charged with implementing elements of the 2006 Massachusetts Health Reform law. Ms. Wcislo will speak on how the national Affordable Care Act may impact the achievements of the 2006 state law, often referred to as “Chapter 58.”

Health Reform

The Special Senate Committee on National Health Reform has issued a report entitled: A LAW OF UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES? NATIONAL HEALTH REFORM AND ITS IMPACT ON HEALTH REFORM IN MASSACHUSETTS.

The report includes hearings, a summary of the findings, testimony by the attendees, and media reports.

Now in the Library, the report is a timely addition to the discussion on health care reform.
